Gilchrist & Soames Introduces Italian Bergamot Collection
Signature Formulations, fresh design and a crisp fragrance add up
to an unmatched amenities program
INDIANAPOLIS (November 9, 2008) — The scent of the new Gilchrist & Soames Italian Bergamot Collection summons images of the Calabria region on the Mediterranean coast of Italy, renowned for its cultivation of the bergamot orange and the quality of its essence.
Experience this new collection at IHMRS booth 2756 and be transported. The collection will begin shipping in December 2008.
The Italian Bergamot Collection features Gilchrist & Soames' Signature formulations, which contain no parabens, phthalates, petrol-derived ingredients, mineral oil, urea, DEA, TEA or propylene glycol. They do contain food-grade, naturally derived USP glycerin; natural conditioning agents from honey and the Brassica plant; and soybean and cottonseed oil, instead of petrochemicals. The formulations are also free of any artificial colours or dyes.
The five Italian Bergamot liquid products—Shampoo, Conditioner, Conditioning Shampoo, Body Wash and Body Lotion—are available in a 1 fl oz (30 ml) size. Extracts of rosemary, white sage, nettle and ginkgo biloba create a soothing and refreshing bathing experience.
The collection also features two gentle, vegetable-based, aloe soaps. The soaps, available in 0.6 oz (17g) and 1 oz (28g) sizes, are low-weight to reduce the amount of waste. Although low in weight, the bars were designed to have a large surface area, increasing performance by having a larger area in contact with skin to produce more foam.
To round out the collection, Gilchrist & Soames' Italian Bergamot offers a full range of necessity products.
